We prefer if you can work from our Kirkland or Santa Clara office.

Responsibilities:

• This position will work closely with the VP of Engineering and his senior leadership team.
• You will either set or be deeply involved in execution of strategy around People (hiring, growth, career development, and organization health), Process (engineering excellence, execution rhythm, quality, and developer productivity) and Product related initiatives.

Qualifications:

• You are passionate for all three (People, Process & Product), have a can-do attitude, can roll up sleeves to get the job done and gravitate towards wearing multiple hats.
• 15+ years of deep technical experience that allows you to quickly spot improvements.
• 10+ years of hands-on full life cycle software engineering experience is required
• 5+ years of technical program or product management is a must
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues to multiple organizational levels.
• High energy, strong sense of ownership and dealing with ambiguity. You are a champion of teamwork, trust &partnership.
• Personal characteristics include a natural intellectual curiosity. You thrive in fast-paced environments, accompanied by agile engineering practices. Delivering business value without compromising quality is in your DNA.
• Ability to think strategically, see patterns and relationships in information and events, anticipate trends and possibilities that may lead to new business opportunities and effectively respond with bias for action will be a success factor.
• Solid understanding of Data Quality, Governance, Lineage, Metadata Management, semantic data store, Analytics, Data Ingestion/Acquisition/Prep technologies
• Experience with data at scale, platforms, AWS ecosystem will be preferred
• Data Science and Machine Learning experience is a bonus.
• Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
